A Wonderful Vacation

Hello Tony and Bruce,

Just a quick hello and a big "Thank You" for a wonderful vacation. You two, along with all the people we met while there, made our stay wonderful. We felt so at home and always welcome! The Inn is so comfortable and inviting and you guys are the greatest! We are looking forward to our next visit. And as for the last days activities... The Pelican was awesome for lunch... and the water taxis were great fun. We took our time and got off at a few of the places and took some time to site see! We even had a few Irish Beers at the Briney Pub! What a fun place! We went by and visited with Oscar at the Naked Grape that evening after a good dinner at the Old Floridian Seafood House! A great way to end a perfect vacation!

Again thanks for all your help and hosting us during our visit.

Even Locals Love Aragon!

Bruce and Tony are the most FANTASTIC hosts and even though we live 17 miles away from the resort, they are our first choice for a secret getaway from work and all the things that we have to do. Not only do we celebrate our anniversary with them every year, but we tell our friends and guests to my restaurant that their hospitality rivals ours! You simply must stay in every room and I think we only have a few left to enjoy! Their parties are a must for simply meeting wonderful people. We LOVE you guys, Robert and Mark

Rodeo Week

Wow what a great time. My partner and I were there for a vacation before the Sunshine Stampede. Great location, you can walk to just about anywhere in Wilton Manors. We can't wait to come back next year. Tony and Bruce you two are the best.

Our rooms were just what we expected, clean, pleasant, breakfast was perfect. 10 days flew by, but my 6 weeks, starting in February should be a bit better. We have been thinking about a nice way to say thank you to all our wonderful past and future guests and so while sitting around the pool yesterday, we decided that we would make a weekend special even more affordable for those who would like to travel but are watching their pennies. We stayed at Aragon Inn back in March, but we're still talking about what a great, relaxing, fun time we had months later. It was our first time in Ft. Lauderdale, and I'm happy to say it wont' be our last. We stayed in the Key West Cottage and it was perfect. Tony, Bruce, and Jamie, you are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the company of the other guests, and loved that we were within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and shops. Thanks for making a short, much needed weekend away from New York feel like a long respite from our hectic lives. We'll see you this coming winter, if not sooner. All the best, James & Lou

Gay Pride Festival

I was lucky to have gotten in at the Aragon for the festival. The town was packed with people and cars. I walked everywhere and never worried about parking. I love love love the aragon inn. Thanks Bruce and Tony, I had a really nice time. Mr. D

Best location in town

We just spent the last 4 days at the Aragon. We came up from Miami to celebrate Gay Pride in Wilton Manors and we had the time of our lives. It was a great relief not to have to drive and look for parking. We were at all the functions and were able to walk home when we wanted to rest. The resort is FABULOUS and you cant beat the location. What a great weekend we had. thank you to Bruce and Tony and a special thanks to jamie for getting us an iron to smooth out the wrinkled shirts. love you guys, J & J

Hello everyone, I want to tell you that the Aragon is awesome. The owners and staff made us feel very welcome and everday by the pool we got to meet some really nice guys. Great Easter Weekend

Speaking for all of us, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at your resort. The entire place was very very nice and well decorated. We especially appreciate the hospitality that Jamie showed us in providing details on where to go and what to do, cleaning up our mess. We all certainly had a good time and loved hanging out at the pool. We will be back to visit, so be sure and keep us posted on the new place.

Tony, Bruce, Jamie and Dan-Just want to drop you all a note and let you know that we enjoyed our stay last weekend. The cottage was very nice. We especially appreciate the hospitality tha Jamie showed in waiting until 1:00 am and Tony showed in providing additional hot dogs for our friends from Texas that came to visit the pool Sunday night; we certainly had a good time. Wilton Manors is not very far from us but for the weekend of the Rodeo my partner and I decided to stay at the Aragon for 3 nights. We had a great time and met some really interesting people. We loved the guesthouse and highly recomend it.

WOW!.... those cowboys can party!!!!! We had so much fun the past week with all of the guys from the rodeo and their friends. Not only were they some of the best looking guys around, but talk about NICE. We were completely booked and it was one of the funnest times by the pool. A lot of the guys just hung around the pool and listened to music, ate hot dogs and drank beer. At night the boots were on and then the guys were off to party at the local bars. I have to say that the site of a man in a cowboy hat makes me crazy!!!! GIDDIE UP . Now we are prepping for June and pride fest . We are booking fast so make sure you get your reservation in soon. Thanks to all of you for making us your choice of accommodations while you are visiting Wilton Manors and the Ft.Lauderdale area.

Great Time!!!

We had the best time at the Aragon Inn and in Fort Lauderdale!! Such an awesome location, close to the bars/nightlife! You don't need a car. There is the 'green hopper' that is a large golf cart that will take you from bar to bar. . .then get dropped off at alibi or bill's and walk a block home! No fee..but tip them well!... The staff was phenominal and very welcoming! lou and mikie-philly

Loved Aragon!

Had a week at The Aragon Inn. Had a great time. Sybill, Basel and Manuel, were fantastic and made me feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and the room (Key West Cottage) was lovely! Can't wait to get back.

My boyfriend and I just spent 4 wonderful nights at the Aragon! We had a great time and loved the location! From the time we made the reservation and throughout our stay, the attention to customer service was excellent! Thank you Tony and Bruce!

We are so happy to be hosting the softball team prior to their trip to Seattle where we are sure they will kick some serious butt! Go get-em guys. On Aug. 17th of this year we are having a huge party for the team and if any of you sports fans want to take part in the action stop by and meet the team. They can use your support and rumor has it they are going to auction off a couple of jock straps to raise $$$ for the team. DONT MISS THIS ONE.

On behalf of Bruce and our staff, I want to thank all the guests that make us smile every time we read this BLOG page. WOW. We really appreciate the nice words and it makes everything worth while. We have a few party events coming up and I'll let you all know what to look for and to expect. We had a very successful event for the FGLRA (gay rodeo). It was lots of fun to see all the cowboys swimming and having a good time that afternoon. Some of the board members stayed with us and I would like to thank them for their patronage. Scandals Saloon, provided beer and I hear, one of the best Sangrias ever on planet Earth. Ken the owner was nice enough to tend bar and he looked very cute in his swimming suit! Food was provided by Armando of Candelas restaurant and the food was so good that people have come over to ask about the restaurant. What that man can do to a pork chop!!! YUMMY! anyway guys, hope you'll stay in touch. big hugs Tony & Bruce

Memorial Day 2008

GREAT place and service!!! Seven of us from Tampa stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time! We all felt very pampered----top notch service.

Aragon Inn's personalized service makes the stay

As a sales manager of a midscale Chicago area hotel, I can be a tough critic on hospitality. I have to say that I wouldn't have changed a thing on my 4 nights at the Aragon.

The hospitality started before we even arrived. With checking on how our travel was going and if we needed assistance. Once we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome. It was like Bruce and Tony already knew us.

Our entire stay was we were asked if there was anything we needed. We wanted for nothing. In fact we were referred to Candela's Cuban Restaurant where I had a homestyle Cuban meal. A must try!!!

The grounds were fantastic. Every room is secluded. You feel like you're in your own sanctuary. The rooms were done with class. Bruce and Tony were proud of the work they did and should be. I will definitely make the Aragon may home any time I'm in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Aragon Inn is Heaven on Earth

My partner of 21 years and I decided it would be a good time to head to Florida and shop for a winter home. Living in Montreal Canada is great in the summer, but unless you're an avid skier, winters can be long and cold.

So a few eeks ago we headed to Fort Lauderdale in search of winter digs. Fortunately for us, we happend on the Aragon Inn when looking for temporary accomodations, while searching for more permanent winter digs.

Bruce and Tony welcomed us to their Inn and made us feel at home. The guys treated us like royalty and even assisted us with sound real-estate advice, to aid in our search. The accomodations were surperb and added to making us feel like royalty.

For great accomodations, short or long term, we highly recommend the Aragon inn. Your hosts Tony and Bruce will look after you. We loved the warmth of the Inn and the warmth and friendliness of the people of Fort Lauderdale. We were made to feel welcome and that made making our decision of selecting Fort Lauderdale as our winter home away from home, all the more easier.

I found a home away from home at Aragon

Owners Tony and Bruce made my 1 week stay a pleasure. Pleasant surroundings, beautiful rooms and being able to party without the need to drive was a gift. The way liquor flows in this town, being in walking distance to so many bars and dance clubs is a real bonus. All the party places are there, as well as a large selection of restaurants too. Next year I will be staying about a month, 1 week flew too quickly.
